Container shipping is the most common mode of transportation at present. Baoshitong logistics will give you a detailed introduction of the packing method of containers and the delivery method of goods.
The packing method of container is divided into whole box and assembled box. Full container means that the shipper shall carry out the consignment in the case after the goods are filled. The case assembling refers to the goods that are not packed in full, and are assembled and packed into the container in a certain amount according to the nature and destination of the goods.
There are four ways to transfer the container goods
1. Full delivery, full case connection (fcl/fcl)
The shipper shall deliver the full container of the goods to the carrier, and the consignee shall take delivery in full at the destination.
2. Delivery and unpacking of boxes (lcl/lcl)
The shipper shall deliver the goods which are insufficient in full to the carrier at the designated place. The carrier shall be responsible for the packing and assembling, and deliver the goods to the destination, and deliver the goods to the consignee after unpacking.
3. Delivery and unpacking (fcl/lcl)
The shipper shall deliver the full container to the carrier after the goods are filled, and the carrier will unpack the goods after arriving at the destination, and then the consignee shall take delivery of the goods by voucher.
4. Lcl/fcl
The shipper delivers the goods which are insufficient in full to the carrier at the designated place. The carrier shall classify and adjust the goods of the same consignee and assemble them into full cases. After the goods are delivered to the destination, the carrier shall deliver them in full, and the consignee shall take them in full.
