According to the Myanmar industry and Commerce Association, the information and Communication Technology Commission of the United States has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Myanmar industry and Commerce Association to promote the development of Myanmar's digital economy.
It is understood that the term of the memorandum is one year. According to the memorandum agreement, during the term of the agreement, the information and Communication Technology Commission of the United States will provide training in the field of information and communication in Myanmar, and carry out seminars and training courses for small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition, it will regularly conduct development seminars in priority areas.
It is reported that the industry and Commerce Association also plans to set up the MSME Association of Myanmar to help small and medium-sized enterprises across the country.
According to the data, 51667 private small and medium-sized enterprises have been registered in China, including catering, clothing, daily necessities, printing, etc., of which the catering industry is the largest. The strategic target of Myanmar digital economy development committee has been successfully implemented by 2020 and is expected to reach 25% by 2025. In order to solve the financial difficulties encountered by small and medium-sized enterprises during the epidemic period, the authorities plan to set up a special fund. To this end, we have formulated financial rules and established a credit guarantee company.
